Dr. Jim
Kraemer...
“Summer 2008”
On June 19, 2008 we had a
great District Assembly in
Mitchell,
SD celebrating our 40th
year as the “Dakota
District”. Dr. Warrick
preached great messages. His
personal time with the
pastors was outstanding. And
Dr. Warrick continues to
provide solid, missional,
leadership to me and our
District. I appreciate his
missional heart. We were
blessed to have Dr. Phil and
Shirley Riley, former
District Superintendent and
wife with us. It was fun
reflecting on some of the
old stories of the district.
Thanks again to
Pastor Sean and the Mitchell
church for hosting this
exciting event.
Our teen camp was also
outstanding. As we met in
the beautiful
Black Hills
July 14 - 18, Pastor Kelley
Lovelace challenged our
Dakota teens with powerful,
biblical messages. Pastor
Jeff O'Rourke and Pastor
Eric Bonness and their staff
provided awesome leadership,
helping our teens deepen
their relationship with God.
I got to be there the whole
week. We have some very
wonderful Dakota teens. At
this writing our Children’s
camp has not yet taken
place. I know God is going
to powerfully move in that
camp too.
I am also receiving reports
from Pastors telling of new
people coming to Jesus
Christ, effective Revival
services, financial
miracles, and unusual
outpourings of God’s Spirit
on some of our churches. As
you can see, God has been
alive and well, unleashing
HIS power on the Dakota
District through the summer.
My prayer is that HE
continue to bless each of
you too, as we work together
to reach into the lives of
many new people across our
great District. Let’s go
make Disciples!!!
